What are Snugberi® sustainable diapers?

Our environmentally friendly disposable nappies or eco nappies are produced using sustainable, and biodegradable materials. Not only is this better for the earth, but it’s also better for your baby because they contain fewer nasties.

How are Snugberi® eco diapers made?

Snugberi® Nappies are made in a similar way to regular disposable nappies, but the main difference is in the materials used to craft them. We’ve taken out all harsh chemicals which are still present in many big-brand and supermarket nappies, so you don’t have to fret about scary reactions or nappy rash with Snugberi® diapers. Our nappy is made up of natural and sustainably derived FSC certified wood pulp also known as fluff and a combination of bio-degradable materials.

Our materials were meticulously selected considering the delicate skin of babies. The top sheet is made up of super soft, feather-touch material that is gentle on your baby’s bottom.

Another main feature of a Snugberi® nappy is absorption. It can hold more liquid than other traditional diapers. It also features animal or nature-themed prints on diaper’s bottom sheet.

Snugberi® diapers are dermatologically tested and safe for the babies' skin.

Why are eco diapers best for babies?

Sustainable nappies – such as Snugberi® nappies – are great for little ones because they have zero harsh chemicals. Unlike other brands, Snugberi® nappies have none of the following chemicals, which can cause longer-term health problems and skin issues for babies:

    ☘️ Chlorine

    ☘️ Optical whiteners

    ☘️ Non-biodegradable plastic

    ☘️ Fire retardants

    ☘️ Formaldehyde

At Snugberi®, we’ve removed all of these, so your precious baby’s delicate skin is only exposed to the softest, gentlest, most natural biodegradable materials.

What is FSC certified wood pulp (fluff)

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), is a non-profit organization that sets very high standards to make sure that forestry is practiced in an environmentally responsible and socially beneficial manner.

The FSC certification is considered the "gold standard" for wood harvested from forests.

        What is a diaper rash?

In general, babies have very new skin and developing immune systems. Their skin is sensitive and susceptible to many sources of irritation or infection.

Various reasons for a diaper rash include-

          A) Leaving a wet or dirty diaper on for too long
          B) Rubbing or chafing against the diaper itself
          C) Bacterial infection
          D) The baby growing older – especially between the ages of 9 and 12 months
          E) Starting to eat solid foods
          F) Taking antibiotics, or if you take antibiotics and are nursing

*Consult a doctor if your child becomes difficult or seems to be in pain related to their diaper rash.

How often do we have to change baby diapers?

For starters, be assured that your baby will give you plenty of practice in changing diapers 😉

A baby urinates upto 20 times a day and you may need to change the diaper every 2 to 3 hours.

Snugberi® diapers have a wetness indicator which will help you to decide when to do a nappy change.

Poopy diapers should be changed as soon as it is clear that your baby has done the big job. But, in general, if you spot a wet or soiled diaper, immediately change it to avoid irritation or infection.

It is always advisable to change your baby’s diaper before bedtime so that he/she can sleep peacefully.

            What is a Wetness indicator?

Wetness indicator are the vertical yellow lines visible on the outer sheet of the diaper. Indicator reacts to moisture changing the line colour from yellow to blue. This suggests it is time for a diaper change. Frequent urination is a good indicator that a baby is getting enough milk or formula to thrive and grow.
